THIS PRODUCT IS PERFECT FOR YOU IF: You have a petite four-legged friend who suffers from aches and pains, anxiety or distress, or loss of appetite — and you want to try an alternative supplement to hopefully bring them some relief.
WHY CBDFX? Just like our products for people, our CBD oil for small dogs is made to the highest standards of quality. We start with organic hemp plants that are free of GMOs, toxic pesticide residues, and other harmful chemicals that might be found in other brands. We extract our CBD oil for small dogs using clean CO2 methods that are free of harsh solvents. Pet CBD Oil 150mg has simple food-grade ingredients—hemp oil and coconut oil—and never any cheap fillers or additives. You can trust that our 150mg CBD oil for dogs is as clean as we say it is because we have it tested by an independent laboratory — and we post their reports right here so you can check yourself!
HOW DO I USE IT? Follow the label instructions. We recommend you start off by giving your furry friend 1 drop (about 0.5 mg of CBD) of Pet CBD Oil 150mg for every 2 pounds of the animal’s body weight each day. If your pet is new to CBD, try a small dose first to see how the animal reacts, and slowly increase the daily dosage as needed.
ANY SIDE EFFECTS? CBD tincture for dogs is safe, natural, non-toxic, and free of undesirable side effects. CBD is not intoxicating for pets.

PET CBD OIL FAQ »
How much CBD oil should I give my small dog?
Your pet’s weight is the first factor to consider in determining how much CBD tincture for dogs to use daily. Our 150 mg CBD oil for dogs is formulated for animals that weigh 20 pounds or less. The handy dropper that comes with each bottle dispenses about 0.5mg of active CBD per drop. Pet owners with experience using our CBD oil for small dogs find that about 1 drop for every 2 pounds of the animal’s body weight is the right starting point. That works out to about 8 drops for a 16-pound dog.
Your dog can’t give you feedback on how the CBD feels, so you need to pay careful attention yourself. A pet that gets too big of a dose of small dog tincture may be extra drowsy or sluggish. If your dog’s energy level is less than normal, reduce the dosage until you find the sweet spot for your four-legged pal.
The American Kennel Club, a nonprofit that has been supporting dog owners since 1884, offers this recommendation to people treating their pets with CBD. “It is always advisable, when giving your dog something new, to start out with small amounts and then closely monitor the effects.”
Should I give my dog the small breed or medium breed tincture?
We offer different concentrations of CBD pet drops so you can choose just the right one for your dog. For little breeds such as Yorkies, Pugs, Chihuahuas, and other “miniatures” weighing 20 pounds and less, 150mg CBD oil for dogs provides a moderate dose that you can dole out in 0.5mg drops. This lets you adjust the dosage so your little pup gets just the right amount.
Our Pet CBD Oil 300mg (medium breed) is best for animals that weigh between 20 and 60 pounds. If your dog is close to the weight border between small and medium, start with the 150mg CBD oil, so you can gradually calibrate the right amount, drop by drop. After using CBD tincture for dogs for a few weeks, you may find your dog would benefit from a higher concentration. If so, choose the formula for medium breeds when you re-order.
Why is the CBDfx dog tincture good for my dog?
Anecdotally, the primary reason people are using CBD oil for themselves is to get potential relief from seizures, chronic pain and inflammation, anxiety and stress disorders, and loss of appetite. CBD tincture affects dogs in the same way as it does people—it activates the body’s built-in endocannabinoid system, which may work with the immune system and other natural processes to restore and maintain good health.
“I got the 150 mg CBD oil for dogs for my little guy who is 9 years old,” says Ana F. “I started noticing that he was moving a lot slower, not lasting on walks, and having trouble going up and down stairs. Since I’ve been given him the oil, he is just about back to his usual self—running and playing. It has definitely helped a lot!”
Cat owners are using 150 mg CBD oil for pets, too. “I’ve been hearing about the benefits of CBD for animals so I researched and decided on CBDfx,” Katie tells us. “My cat has anxiety and has turned into a sour puss over the years. CBD tincture has turned her back into the sweet kitty I adopted four years ago. She is mellowed out and no longer irritable and grumpy. This stuff really works and I can’t recommend it enough to any pet owner who wants to provide relief for their animal.”
Will my small breed dog get high from CBD oil?
This is understandably confusing for many people, so here’s what you need to know: CBD oil comes from hemp, the strain of cannabis plants that contains little or no THC, the mind-altering component of marijuana. Your pet won’t get high from properly made CBD tincture for dogs. Our 150mg CBD oil for pets has no THC.
The American Kennel Club offers this advice to dog owners shopping for CBD: “The manufacturer should provide a certificate that tells you the amount of CBD that is in the product. Many CBD oils contain only small amounts of CBD. You’ll also want to make sure there is little or no THC in the product.” We posted the report from an independent laboratory on our 150 mg CBD oil, so you can be sure you’re getting high-quality CBD and no THC for your pet.
How should I give my small breed dog CBD oil?
Pet CBD Oil 150mg has a mild flavor and dogs won’t notice if it’s added to their favorite foods or treats. The CBD will gradually enter their system as they digest the food. Pets may respond even faster if drops of CBD tincture for dogs is squirted right in their mouths or, best of all, under their tongues.
“You can buy dog treats containing CBD, but the best form to administer is a tincture,” suggests the American Kennel Club. “This way, you can adjust your dog’s dose drop by drop.”
